Where to see Fireworks this Fourth of July

Celebrate the nation’s 243rd birthday at one of the many spots happening around Denver.

July 2nd-3rd

Coors Field

The Rockies won’t be playing on the 4th this year. The team’s annual fireworks show will be on the 2nd and 3rd of July instead.

July 3

Civic Center Park – Denver, CO
Hosting Denver’s largest Fireworks show for the 10th consecutive year. Live Music, Food & Drinks. Gates open at 4pm

July 4th

Dicks’s Sporting Good Park
6000 Victory Way, Commerce City, CO 80022
One of the largest fireworks shows in the state will take place place shortly after the Colorado Rapids game. The game starts at 7pm.

Downtown Denver 

 

Broncos Stadium at Mile High

After the Denver Outlaws game.

The Suburbs

Arvada

Thursday, July 4

  • Gates open to vehicles at 7 p.m., Fireworks begin approximately 9 p.m.
  • Stenger Sports Complex (W. 58th Ave. and Oak St.). W. 58th Ave. will shut down to traffic beginning 8 p.m.
  • NO recreational vehicles (RVs), drones, alcohol, personal fireworks, charcoal grills, or pets allowed. Propane grills are allowed.
  • Free parking first-come, first-serve parking. Handicap parking available in Stenger northeast lot

The Arvada Police Department will activate the Fireworks Reporting Hotline 720-898-6919 beginning at noon July 1 through noon July 6 and will have special fireworks enforcement teams that will be enforcing fireworks violations.

Aspen

Drone Light Show – Wednesday, July 4th
The drone light show starts at 9:15 p.m. at Wagner Park and will be followed by a performance by the band Thievery Corporation at Belly Up.

The city will host its Fourth of July Spectacular from 6 pm to 10 pm

Boulder

The Starts & Stripes Independence Day Celebration
Regional Park on July 3rd from 4 to 10pm. With fireworks scheduled for 9:30pm

Carmichael Park, just behind Brighton City Hall

Free activities for kids, food, music and more. 4-10pm. Fireworks begin at dark.

Broomfield

The Great American Picnic at Broomfield County Commons Park
Fireworks being at 9:30pm, weather and fire bans permitting. Enjoy activities for children, beer garden and live music. Activities begin at 5pm.

Commerce City

4th Fest Celebration
Boasted as the largest public fireworks display in the state. The Free celebration takes place on the south side of Dick’s Sporting Goods. Starting at 5pm-7pm. Following the Colorado Rapids match at 9:30pm.

3rd of July Extravaganza – Wednesday, July 3rd
Kicks off at 5pm at the Colorado National Golf Club. Fireworks take place after dark.

Firestone

4th at Firestone at Miners Park – Wednesday, July 4
Begins at 10am with fireworks scheduled for 9:30pm

Golden

Independence Day in Golden – Wednesday, July 4th
Activities start at noon. Weather permitting, the day will end with a large firework display at Lions Park on 10th street.

Waneka Lake Park
Starting at 4pm. Food trucks, Bounce House, Face Painting for the kids, and live band. Free fireworks begin at dusk.

Longmont

Longmont 4th of July Fireworks Display Wednesday, July 4th
Boulder County Fairgrounds. Starting at 9:30pm.

Louisville

Coal Creek Golf Course
Starting from 6-10pm. No parking at golf course. Get shuttle information here.

Thornton

Carpenter Park Fields
3498 E 112th Ave
Food vendors, beer garden, lvie entertainment, parachutists. Fireworks at dusk. Festivities start from 4pm-10pm.

Westminster

Uncle Sam’s Splash Bash
Countryside Outdoor Pool, 10470 Oak St, Broomfield.
Starts from 1-3pm

Fourth of July Celebration at City Park
10455 N Sheridan Blvd.
Activities, Food Vendors, Ber Garden, Performance start at 4pm. Concert starts at 7pm. Fireworks at 9:15pm. Free shuttle info here.

Wheat Ridge

Anderson Park
Two concerts starting at 10am
Bradley Weaver – 10am-10:45am
Papa Juke Band – 6:30-8pm
No Fireworks this year.

Fireworks will be on August 10th and 11th at the annual Carnation Festival.
